Partnering with Africa Networking Evening

On March 31st 2016, in partnership with Petrosen, over 125 MSGBC basin stakeholders joined The Energy Exchange and Mr. Mamadou Faye, General Manager of Petrosen for an evening of networking at Simmons & Simmons’ head offices in London.

The Partnering with Africa Networking Evening attracted stakeholders including Africa Oil, Africa Energy, Perenco, GeoPartners, T5 and Sterling Energy.

The evening’s agenda included:

  • A closed-door roundtable discussion about the assessing challenges and opportunities of the MSGBC basin which was attended by 25 industry professionals operating in, or related to the North West African upstream oil industry
  • An opening address by Mamadou Faye, General Manager of Petrosen on The future for Senegal as an oil and gas country
  • The roundup of the MSGBC basin roundtable by Peter Elliot, Consultant of NVentures and moderator of the roundtable discussion
  • A networking reception where all attendees gathered to make new industry contacts and further discuss the opportunities of the MSGBC Basin
