Madagascar’s Minister for Mines & Petroleum has declared Madagascar ready to do business with the international community and is currently in the process of updating the nation’s petroleum and mining codes to make them more attractive to international investors.

Held Under the patronage of the Ministry near the Presidency in charge of Mines and Petroleum, took place on 23d – 25th September in Antananarivo, the International Mining and Petroleum Forum, was the platform for The Malagasy Ministry near the Presidency of Mining and Petroleum to launch Madagascar’s new petroleum and mining codes, and to announce the Ministry’s plans to develop Madagascar’s extractive industries.
