NEW FOR 2007 – OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: SAJGAS PLANT, SHARJAH, UAE

DanaGas is the first regional private sector natural gas resource enterprise established in the Gulf, holding assets and contractual entitlements to the largest private sector integrated natural gas supply chain in the Gulf. 

In addition to commencing the operation of its existing assets, DanaGas plans to expand its business by pursuing natural gas opportunities throughout the Gulf as well as the wider MENA region.

The Energy Exchange Ltd and DanaGas are pleased to provide for a limited number of attendees of Gas Arabia 2007, the opportunity to visit the SajGas plant in Sharjah.

The plant consists of gas sweetening and sulphur recover facilities, the primary operations of which involve the sweetening of feed gas by extracting hydrogen sulphide and removing carbon dioxide and production of sulphur pastilles.

The plants main major facilities consist of an onshore gas receiving and processing facility including gas inlet reception facilities, two amine gas sweetening trains, a sulphur recovery, forming and handling plant and associated utilities and infrastructure.
