Building on the great success of the First Annual European Gas Conference 2008 which saw over 300 senior executives attend from across the region’s gas industry and from over 27 countries, The Energy Exchange Ltd is now delighted to announce that the 2009 conference, co-hosted by OMV for the second year running, will be returning to Vienna on 27-29 January 2009.

Still at the forefront of the European energy debate, gas supply, distribution, storage issues, LNG and major projects will be discussed in depth at this next annual conference which will once again bring together leaders from across the region’s major gas companies, governments and regulatory bodies, to examine the key issues and challenges at the heart of current European energy debate.

New for 2009, the event will begin with a focussed LNG Forum on 27 January which will provide attendees with an in-depth look into the current issues facing the LNG industry and the impact of LNG on Europe’s supply dilemma. The main conference will follow on 28 and 29 January in which our panellists will discuss security of supply, diversification, and European energy policy directives, as well as key gas pipeline projects and new gas storage options.

The European Gas Conference 2009 is the ideal networking opportunity for senior representatives of the gas and LNG industry, offering unrivalled business networking, exchange of ideas and the latest debate on the state of the industry from top players across the region.
