In The News: Vienna gas conference to discuss TAP and TANAP for Azeri gas export to Europe

On 19-21 January Vienna will host the XI European Gas Conference to involve representatives of Azerbaijan.

The conference organizers’ The Energy Exchange website says that panel discussion “Diversification of routes and supply via the Southern Corridor” will be held on 20 January. Topic of discussion is the role of the TAP and TANAP projects for gas supply from Azerbaijan to Europe.

Among the speakers are Emily Olsen, VP Communications & External Affairs for Southern Corridor at BP;  Gulmira Rzayeva, Senior Research Fellow – Energy Related Issues, Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Azerbaijan. Participation of experts of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is not ruled out as well.
